Stripe invoice payments in your CRM.

On the Max plan, GuardenerAI connects to your own Stripe account so you can email a card payment link for any issued invoice; when the customer pays, the payment is recorded against the invoice and posted to your ledger automatically.

Available on the Max plan, as part of the Accounting module, which we switch on for your workspace with you. An organization admin connects Stripe under Settings, Stripe payments.

What it does

  • Sends a payment link by email for any issued invoice with a balance due.
  • The customer pays by card on a Stripe checkout page; the money goes to your own Stripe account.
  • When Stripe confirms the payment, it is recorded against the invoice and the invoice shows as paid or partly paid.
  • The payment posts to your ledger, and tax Stripe collected posts to Tax Payable.
  • Links can expire, and sending a new link replaces the previous one.

How to connect it

  1. Ask us to switch on Accounting for your workspace.
  2. Open Settings, Stripe payments and paste your Stripe secret and publishable keys.
  3. In your Stripe dashboard, add a webhook for the checkout.session.completed event pointing at the URL shown, then paste its signing secret.
  4. Use Test connection, tick Enable Stripe payments for this organization, and send a payment link from an issued invoice.

What it does not do

  • Payment links are for issued invoices. There is no Stripe subscription billing and no recurring invoices.
  • Your Stripe account, payouts and fees stay in Stripe.
  • Payments taken outside the link (cash, check, ACH, wire) are recorded by hand on the invoice.

Which plan includes Stripe card payments?
The Max plan. On other plans you still raise invoices and record payments by hand.
Whose Stripe account is it?
Yours. You connect your own account with your own keys, and payments go straight to it.
Do I have to mark invoices as paid?
Not for payments through the link. Stripe tells GuardenerAI the payment completed, and it is recorded against the invoice and posted to the ledger.
Can customers pay by bank transfer?
Through the link, customers pay by card on Stripe checkout. Bank transfers and other payments are recorded on the invoice by hand.
