AI and developers

Connect Claude to your CRM with MCP.

GuardenerAI runs an MCP server, so Claude and other AI agents that speak the Model Context Protocol can search, create and update your CRM records and work your queues, using an API key with the same permissions as a member of your team.

Included in the core product. An organization admin creates the API keys.

What it does

  • Gives an agent these tools: search records, get a record, create a record, update a record, add a note, list a worklist, claim a record and release a record.
  • Covers companies, persons, leads, opportunities, tasks, cases and notes.
  • Uses the same API keys as the Developer API, so there is no second credential to manage.
  • A key can never do more than a Member, and a read-only key cannot change anything.
  • Revoking the key ends the agent’s access immediately.

How to connect it

  1. An organization admin creates an API key under Settings, API keys. It is shown once, so store it safely.
  2. Add the server to your agent. In Claude Code: claude mcp add guardenerai --transport http https://<your-org>.guardenerai.com/mcp with the x-api-key and x-org-base-url headers.
  3. Ask the agent to work your CRM, for example to claim the newest leads in a queue and add a note to each.

What it does not do

  • Accounting data is read-only through the API, and the MCP tools do not create invoices.
  • Workflows cannot be started with an API key.
  • There are no outbound webhooks; an agent asks for what it needs.
