What it does

  • Connects your mailbox with Google sign-in; no password is stored.
  • Sends one-to-one email from the Email panel on a person, company or lead, with attachments, inline images and your own email templates.
  • Logs what you send on the record it was sent from.
  • Replies are logged when you forward them, or BCC, to your personal capture address, and only when they match a person, company or lead you already have.
  • Sends exactly what you wrote: no tracking pixels and no link rewriting on one-to-one email.

How to connect it

  1. Open Settings, Mailboxes and add your Gmail or Google Workspace address.
  2. GuardenerAI recognises a Google mailbox and asks you to sign in with Google.
  3. Copy your personal capture address and BCC or forward replies to it, so they land on the right record.
  4. Send your first email from the Email panel on any person, company or lead.

What it does not do

  • Gmail connects for sending only. GuardenerAI does not read your Google inbox; replies arrive through your capture address.
  • There is no open or click tracking on one-to-one email.
  • Mail that matches no record in GuardenerAI is discarded, not stored.

Fair questions.

Does GuardenerAI read my whole Gmail inbox?
No. A Gmail connection is used to send. Replies reach GuardenerAI only when you forward or BCC them to your capture address, and only messages that match a record you already have are kept.
Can the whole team share one Google mailbox?
An admin can connect a shared mailbox for the organization, alongside each person’s own. The organization policy decides whether members may connect their own mailboxes.
Can I use email templates?
Yes. Email templates you create in Settings can be picked when you compose, and edited before you send.
Can I send marketing campaigns through Gmail?
Campaigns and journeys send through a marketing sender. For volume, connect a delivery provider such as SendGrid, Amazon SES, Mailgun or Postmark.
