GuardenerAI connects to Outlook Calendar in Microsoft 365 to put the meetings you create in GuardenerAI on your calendar, bring changes back, and remove your busy time from your booking links.

What it does

  • Puts meetings created or booked in GuardenerAI on your Outlook calendar.
  • Brings changes back from Outlook for meetings GuardenerAI created, and a deletion there cancels the meeting.
  • Uses your other events as busy time only, so booking links never offer a slot you have taken.
  • Never writes to an event GuardenerAI did not create.

How to connect it

  1. Open Settings, Calendars and connect Microsoft.
  2. Sign in with your Microsoft 365 account and allow calendar access. This is separate from connecting your mailbox.
  3. Set your availability and share a booking link.

What it does not do

  • A calendar connection is personal; there is no shared team calendar.
  • Details of your own events stay in Outlook; only their start and end are used.
  • GuardenerAI does not create Teams meetings. Add a video link to the booking link yourself.

Why connect the calendar separately from my mailbox?
Microsoft grants mailbox and calendar access separately, so they are two connections. Each can be removed without affecting the other.
Does it work with an on-premises Exchange calendar?
The calendar connection is for Microsoft 365 accounts that sign in with Microsoft.
Will customers see my other appointments?
No. They only see open times on your booking link.
